On April 7, 2015, the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) filed a Complaint in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida (the “District Court”), commencing the above-captioned civil injunctive and enforcement action against eCareer Holdings, Inc., eCareer, Inc., Joseph J. Azzata, Dean A. Esposito, Joseph Devito, and Frederick J. Birks (the “Defendants”), and Viper Asset Management, LLC, Espo Consulting, LLC, DJC Consulting, LLC, J & D Marketing, LLC, Gryphon Asset Management, LLC, and Carla Azzata (the “Relief Defendants”). On April 17, 2015, the Court entered a Preliminary Injunction against eCareer Holdings, Inc. and eCareer, Inc.. Then, on May 22, 2015, the Court granted the SEC’s motion to appoint a receiver for eCareer Holdings, Inc. and eCareer, Inc. (the “Receivership Entities”), and appointed David M. Levine as the receiver (the “Receiver”). Since his appointment, the Receiver has been working to discover, marshal, and preserve funds and assets derived from the investors. This website was created to provide information to all investors and third parties.
